Her philosophy follows Bikram as himself said:

Neha Shewani

A person who took to Bikram Yoga as a last ditch effort to cure her acidic peptic ailment, Neha Shewani is a testimony to how the decision changed her life in a positive way. Since starting in December 2010, Neha realised within a week the change that came over her and embraced Bikram Yoga as a permanent part of her life. Her quest to learn more and the constant support for her teachers, she soon found herself attending the teacher training session of spring 2012. After completing the course, she returned to India to teach at the Bikram Yoga centres in Pune and Hyderabad until October 2013. Slowly her never ending desire to travel, meet new people and share her knowledge took her to various places, including Thailand and Indonesia recently.

An energetic former Italian Lawyer, She moved to London 5 years ago where she worked in Real Estate Firm and took a shot managing her Events Company. While she was having her busy, stressful and crazy life for many years, One day a guy took her for a date to my first Bikram yoga class… She literally fell in love with Yoga instead!

Here is her story.

“I remember, I ended the class and immediately felt addicted to this discipline, due to the delighting fatigue and sweaty room, I loved the energy after the hard work! my appetite got adjusted, after a couple of weeks my body could recognize what was healthy for me and what to avoid. No more chocolates, better sleep, beautiful skin and shape after couple of months. I found myself capable to manage my endless emotions for the first time in my life and more focused on my duties. Unfortunately I was not able to maintain consistency with the Bikram yoga practice due to sickness. 2 and half years ago I found out I am suffering from hyperthyroidism and the Doctor strongly advised me to take medications. I believed in alternative remedies, first, I had several acupuncture sessions but I also started practicing Bikram yoga once again every day, having read in Bikram’s book that endocrine system dysfunctions can be reverted through the yoga practice. Sometimes I joined double and triple classes per day, after six months my thyroid dysfunction disappeared! As a result of this intense practice my scoliosis has also been dramatically reduced, I have no pain! Considering, when I was a teenager I have been wearing braces for my scoliosis.

During those times I decided to join the TT to share my personal experience with as many people as possible! I graduated in fall 2014 and I am so grateful for all the benefits I am getting from practicing and teaching at the same time.

I have been teaching Bikram Yoga since that moment in and it took me places like Thailand, Indonesia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, India and Italy.

And in September of 2015 to November 2015 I decided to join a second Teacher Training in Rishikesh (India) learning about traditional Hatha yoga, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandhas, Mantras and Meditation from the great Indian Guru Swami Ji considered the “father of yoga ” in Rishikesh, Indian Hatha yoga Champions and being extremely grateful to Yogi Sachin and his wife Shruti founders of Shiva Tattva school.

As far as I am concerned, when I teach, it’s all about my beautiful students, I get lots of energy from them and I try to give them mine. My dedication comes from my personal experience through which I healed myself. It really works! “


Shirly Shan

Shirly began her journey over 20 years ago. She has been teaching for the last 6 years and is registered with the Yoga alliance. Shirly has vast experience and has studied Ashtanga yoga in Mysore India as well as adding Ayurveda practitioner and nutritionist to her talents. She is well versed in many different yoga styles such as Hatha, Bikram, Iyengar, Yin yoga, and has gained a broad, non-dogmatic and open-minded approach. For her, that’s what yoga is all about ! As she always says to her students:

“There is no judgment, do the best you can, as long as you put your mind and heart into it. That’s what really matters”.

Through her many travels and teaching all over the world, Shirly has met many inspiring yoga teachers and has drawn her inspiration and yoga philosophy from the likes of Sri Dharma Mittra, David Swenson, Ana Forrest, Patrick Creelman. Shirly has had many international and multi-cultural experiences through her practice of yoga and Ayruveda and she always likes to get involved in teaching wherever she goes.

Leyla Najafi

A lady with a cheerful smile and vibrant energy, Leyla is a woman who travelled from a regular job as a travel agent to be a charming yoga instructor. The sheer passion she had for yoga made her to join teachers training course in 2007 and since then, she has developed into an able and respected pracititioner of Bikram Yoga. Leyla feels blessed to have had the opportunity of meeting interesting individuals through the teaching and considers Bikram Yoga as the best thing to have happened to her. Even to this day, as she continues spreading knowledge and happiness, she imagines living a dream wherein she is given the chance to lead people on such a physical, spiritual conquest.


Jessica Thomas

Jessica began practicing Bikram yoga 5 years ago, her original aims were to establish a balance with her Dancing career and also increase flexibility. Within her first 5 classes she was completely in love with the practice, the benefits both mentally and physically were endless!!!! As she continued her practice with various teachers and built strength, she watched with amazement at how much this yoga was helping people in so many different ways. She decided to go to L.A and complete her teacher training and graduated in 2013. Jessica feels so happy to be giving something back to Bikram by sharing this incredible series. She feels great joy when leading people through the postures and reminding them that “it’s never too late, it’s never too bad and you’re never too old or to sick to start from scratch again” (Bishnu Ghosh). She has a great passion for helping people create balance so they can live a healthier and more peaceful life.

Ningthoujam Robindro Singh or more fondly called as Robin, is a man of simplicity and clarity. Yoga defines his life and over the years, he has put in a lot of hard work to master different styles of the practice. Even today, he calls himself a learner and continues his pursuit to uncover new elements of the routines.

Yoga has been part of his life from a very young age. It was in the year 1996 that he got introduced to the world of yoga. Destiny led him to join a yoga class in Manipur and from then on, he has continued practising along with his studies. His fierce desire to know more about fitness and yoga, saw him acquire a Degree in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports (specialized in Yoga) from the Manipur University and later went on to complete his Master degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) from Nagpur University (Maharashtra, India) in 2001-02.

During the educational years, Robin participated in numerous yoga competitions and won many prizes. Later, he worked as a Yoga teacher’s trainer in Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Trivandrum under Sports Authority of India (S.A.I.). His commitment to teaching yoga became more focused with his migration to Dubai in 2003. In Dubai, he got to share his knowledge with students of different nationalities and which enabled him to mould himself better as a teacher crossing the barriers of regional language. He also conducted workshops and made his presence felt in International Yoga Conferences. Currently, he is teaching different styles of Yoga namely Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Pre-natal and Post-natal Yoga).

Helping people be successful is something I don’t think I could ever get sick of. I always feel called to serve. This is what I do in my yoga classes to create goals in your life and get motivated to achieve it in a yogi way. What I was doing in past up early getting caught up the training groups and run for hours, which was good but in a hard way. I remember my first yoga class back in 2007 in Canada when coincidently I found myself in someone yoga class , and surprisingly I found same benefit as hard as other exercises but in a cool and calm way which I loved, And it kept me doing that till today even more professionally as a trainer .

I have studied Psychology in University, so it helps me to pass all my experiences and advices in my yoga classes to those who need it and help them to recreate their life in a way they like and wish for. Life is what you make it, so make it as beautiful as you wish for.

I love this Quote from Eric Thomas saying “Don’t make a habit out of choosing what feels good over what’s actually good for you.”

I basically teach Hatha yoga in variation like twisting class (physically ) and detoxification (mentally )/ back bending class(physically )and forgiveness (spiritually )/power yoga (physically )determined and focusing on your goals (mentally ). As you see body and mind should be trained together at the same time as I do in my classes. You will feel warmed up, energized and in the same time happy, motivated and focused.

I train Power Vinyasa including 10 stages, depending on the strength of my classes, which is raising up your heart rate and will you in a calm and relaxed mind

I have performed a kind of modern class of vinyasa which is called blind yoga , when you cover your eyes and just listen to instructor which it was great and exciting according to my students .

I provide a nice, warm and friendly atmosphere in my classes with lit up candles and burning some Ouds. (as per student’s desire ) which makes my classes different from others by providing an experience that you are in a spa or a massage treatment.

I’ve learned a lot over these last few years & I hope I can drop some knowledge on you all.

Maggie chose to denounce the corporate world to make the choice of sharing yoga knowledge with others. Her decision to stick to a daily practice routine led to peacefulness, weight loss and inner strength. This personal experience led her to complete the Hot Yoga Teacher’s training in Thailand in 2011. She has also qualified in teaching Restorative yoga in 2012, Pre and post natal yoga as well as Vinyasa and Kids Yoga in 2013 (through Rainbow Kids and Groovy Kids).

As a teacher, she stresses on proper breathing techniques during her sessions and her students testify to positive changes in their lives. She also works as a Certified Natural Health Adviser and Massotherapist for adults and children, working with people from different streams of life ranging from business entrepreneurs to household moms and helps them attain a healthy life pattern by combining yoga practice with proper nutrition.
